I am Dr Mazed Islam (PhD, FHEA, FRSA, CText FTI UK), a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) of Sustainable Fashion and Textiles at the University of Southampton with research interest on digitally enabled circular fashion, sustainable practices in fashion/textiles, and supply chain management.  I did PhD on sustainable practices in fashion and textiles from the University of Manchester. My PhD period at the ADE group, Department of Materials enabled me with ample opportunities to enhance knowledges, skills and experiences through diverse activities, engagement and support system which has significantly helped to progress in my careers in fashion industry with impactful achievements/contributions in higher education teaching-research. I feel proud to be a part of the prestigious University of Manchester where opportunity and support system in place to flourish talent and beyond to enable you fit for purpose, contribute and unlimited achievements.
